When I wrote about my weight at the end of September I was 166 pounds. Fearing the long term consequence of this trend I went to a Natural Doctor in Connecticut and she has done a great job of reducing my food associated pain while increasing my calories. Under Dr. Zigo's care I have given up dairy, added a pro-biotic, and modified my diet to focus heavily on clean whole foods.
Since then I have pushed my caloric intake up to 2,400 - 3,000 calories a day and added a magnesium supplement to my medical regiment. Making these changes has caused the pain in my back and sides to decrease some and physically my energy level has increased significantly. One problem remains though, my continued weight loss.
This morning when I got on the scale my weight was 144.6 pounds. That puts my weight down 22 pounds since September and 109 pounds since March of 2013.
This makes me feel...confused. I'm not feeling depressed about the continued weight loss (at this point), just completely baffled. It has definitely been a crazy journey so far. I wonder what's coming around the bend?
